Olympiatravet at Åby Racetrack

Welcome to Olympiatravet at Åby Racetrack in Gothenburg, Saturday April 16th 2011!

Olympiatravet (“The Olympic Race”) is our biggest event of the year. It attracts more than 17.000 spectators and the day is a festival of horseracing, Olympic athletes and great fun for the whole family.

The best horses
The main event is the race Olympiatravet. An International Group I-race with a total purse of 295.000 euros, the second biggest race in Sweden. Ten of the worlds greatest trotting horses race over 2.140 metres.

Swedish top athletes
Special guests at the Åby Racetrack are Swedens Olympic athletes. You have chance to meet such stars as Björn Ferry, Charlotte Kalla and Anna Carin Olofsson Zidec.

Location
The Åby Racetrack is located in Mölndal, 10 km south of Gothenburg. You can easily reach us by car, taxi or bus.
